Infernal Prison [Part 06]

The stone platform, dangling on top of scorching hot lava, was all that stood between inevitable demise and keeping alive. Beyond the crater on all sides are towering brick walls that reach the heights. Numerous rows of seats, with on them guards against different prison sections, VIPs from far-off places, and the warden in his particular section, look down at the prisoners as they clash bare-handed for survival.

At first, it was there to relieve the guards of their boredom. But time has seen it become a literal and figurative hotspot for guests, guards, and warden alike. Strong prisoners fight for perks in this hellish place, whereas your everyday inmate fights for survival. Ironically so, oftentimes unsuccessfully.
