Church’s Hidden Crypt [Part 06]

Water flows down from the walls and surrounds the platform in the middle. A statue depicting an angel—including a radiating sunlight beaming in on it, stands tall as a centerpiece to the hidden chambers. Down below, a tombstone lies with unrecognizable words adorned on its stone.

The crux of the hidden crypt reveals a chamber filled with echoes, and despite the deafening silence, carries an otherworldly voice that resounds in the head. To those who linger around death for too long, will find themselves at death’s door. The chamber is affecting your psyche as your insides bellow for you to leave. Yet, the stone figure grabs a hold of you like a magnetic pull.

Someone grand must be buried in this sanctum that contains both life and death, good and evil. You dare not think further about who it is who is buried here. Before any other thought could even cross your mind, the stone figure opens its wings and the room, cold but bright, turns to a cold, stark dark.
